A movement of hope throughout our city and region where the people of Immanuel actively plan and participate in carrying out missional projects.

At Immanuel, the core of our community is driven through our Groups. We are asking all of our Groups to be the catalyst for this effort. Groups at Immanuel are designed to be the springboard for everyone to find family, find friendship, and find purpose. If you are in a Group already, awesome! If you are not in a Group, we ask that you join a Group or form a new Group.

The kick start to all of this is the launch of our upcoming new teaching series “Hope is Here” on June 7th. Hope Project planning within the groups will begin within those first few weeks of June in consultation with our church staff. Our goal is to have all of our Groups complete their Hope Projects by the end of the summer, or August 31.

Instead of giving you a list of projects to just check off and complete, we want this to be guided by the Holy Spirit, empowered by God, enacted by our Groups, and experienced by our people.

Your next step is to gather with your Group. Pray and ask God to give clarity and vision for how you will carry hope to our city this summer. Join together as a group to plan and carry out your project. Ask God to give your Group the opportunity to be a light in darkness as the hands and feet of Jesus!

In Acts, the early church lived out their faith daily. God moved among them and through them and countless people came to know Jesus Christ and it changed communities and regions.

Acts 2:44-47 gives us a glimpse into HOW it was done. "Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as anyone had a need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved.”

As individuals and with your Group, ask these 3 questions:
1. God, is this of you?
2. What’s my part?
3. God, will you bless your people with the vision to take action?
