Life On Mission - Part 1

Lord, because You say so, I will...

How would you complete that sentence. In the book of Luke, Jesus asked Simon to let down the nets for a catch. But Simon and his men had already called it a night. But Simon said to Jesus, "But because You say so, I will let down the nets" (Luke 5:5).

Are we willing to do something that is inconvenient or impractical because Jesus says so?

Life On Mission: The Sovereignty of God

God, by His very nature, is missional. He is on mission to redeem His creation from a fallen world. Being a Christ follower means living our lives on mission to speak a word of hope to a dark world. Why do resist being missional? Is it because we don't have a proper understanding of just how sovereign God is? Pastor Ron Edmondson shares how we must recognize the ultimate authority of God and how God is on mission all around us.

Life On Mission: Work It

God is on mission to rescue the people He created. Where do we start to join Him in that mission? It's as simple as looking around us. Our lives are connected by the work we do, and our mission field is all around us--our jobs, at the store, at the gym. God is going to use us for His purpose and glory no matter where we are.

Life On Mission: The Image of God

We are created in God's image. You cannot understand your full worth until you understand you're created in the image of God. And when you begin to see people as God sees them, you will love them more.

Life On Mission: Obedience

When we obey God, we are demonstrating our trust in Him. Obedience is a measure of spiritual maturity. It does not mean conformity. Live up to who God has called you to be, and do what God has designed for you to do.

Life On Mission: Go

Special guest speaker is Aaron Coe, Vice President of Mobilization with the North American Mission Board and co-author of Life On Mission: Joining the Everyday Mission of God.
