What is it about?

Women at Immanuel dive deeply into God's word with in-depth Bible study. Every spring and fall, Friday morning classes are offered to help you grow in your walk with God. In additional, small group Bible studies are offered throughout the year on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Visit Connection Point for a current listing.

Women’s Ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church follows the mission statement of the church in that its focus is to gather through fellowship, grow through studying God’s word, and to serve others within the church, the local community, and throughout the world.

ONE IN A MILLION BY PRISCILLA SHIRER

WOMEN ON MISSION

A ministry of the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), this organization encourages women of all ages to grow in their relationship to Christ and in their mission’s involvement. Presently, there are four Women On Mission groups that focus on missions, awareness, ministry, witnessing, praying, giving, and supporting the work of the Southern Baptist missionaries serving at home and around the world: Berean Group, Frances Pendley Group, Sunshine Group, and Novella Bender group.

WOMAN TO WOMAN MENTORING MINISTRY

This ministry will give the women of Immanuel Baptist Church the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian lives by participating in 6 month long, one on one supporting and encouraging mentoring friendships. A mentor will be a woman who desires to invest in another woman and encourage her in her walk with Jesus. A mentoree will be a woman who is younger in her walk with the Lord. Women of all ages are welcomed and needed! The scriptural foundation for this ministry is Titus 2:3-5, where we are told to teach and guide the next generation of Christian women in how to live the life of a godly woman.
