Sunrise Services for Children+
Immanuel is an avid supporter of the work done through Sunrise Children’s Services. Sunrise provides therapeutic foster care and residential treatment for abused, neglected, and abandoned children in Kentucky. Sunrise has been around for nearly 150 years in one form or another, and is committed to providing the highest level of care to children throughout the state.
Orphan Care Alliance+
Orphan Care Alliance offers a variety of services to help the fatherless in Kentucky, from programs that assist families in crisis to providing mentoring for children aging out of the foster care system. Immanuel partners with OCA to provide training and seminars.
CASA of Lexington+
Court Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers who represent the best interests of individual abused and neglected children in the family court system. If you can’t be a foster parent, you can still make a difference in a child’s life by being part of their support system and making sure their voice is heard.
Citizen Foster Care Review Board+
Citizen Foster Care Review Board members spend just a few hours each month reviewing foster care cases and writing recommendations to family court judges. The goal of this board is to advocate for children in foster care by ensuring placement in safe, permanent homes in a timely manner.
