“These words are faithful and true” (Revelation 22:6). In a world where fact and fiction are hard to discern from each other, one book has remained faithful in truth. We live in a world that is looking for answers. The Bible is where to find them. Gather with us for worship on Sunday at 9:30 or 11 AM to discover Truth.

CATALYST 2017: REBUILD, RESTORE, REVIVE
Catalyst is our Student Ministry annual disciple weekend event. We stay in host homes overnight right here in Lexington while meeting at the church for large group worship sessions and activities. Students are divided into groups by grade and gender. As part of this year’s Catalyst weekend, we will be hosting the Strength to Stand Tour at Immanuel. The Strength to Stand Tour sessions are open events for churches around the state to join us. This event will feature a concert by Christian hiphop artist Trip Lee, worship led by Rush of Fools, and speakers Scott Dawson and Chad Poe. The theme for the weekend is “Rebuild, Restore, Revive” and we will walk through the book of Nehemiah. Cost for the weekend is $55 for IBC members and regular attenders; $35 for guests. A 2017 Medical Release Form is required. If you have not completed one for this year, you may complete it here:
A “Catch the Vision” tour is a two-night experience where pastors and key leaders from your church travel to a Send North America City and are hosted by the North American Mission Board’s Send City Missionary. Pastor Ron Edmondson will lead this team in Chicago, March 20-22, 2017. While in Chicago as part of the Catch the Vision Tour, you will:
• Explore the city in person to gain a greater understanding of what it means to plant churches in an urban context.
• Meet church planters and experience their ministry first hand while considering potential partnerships.
• See communities in need of new churches.

All 6th-12th grade students, please join us for Mission Fuge (MFUGE) Camp at Ridgecrest Conference Center near Asheville, NC. You’ll jump into ministry with local communities and serve people in need. Students are divided into groups for Bible study and ministry based on the type of work they request. Off-site ministry is facilitated within Bible study groups by a member of the trained FUGE camp staff who also leads the Bible study. Ministry sites vary, but groups are trained and equipped for ministry through activities such as painting and yard work, facilitating activities with kids, or working in a homeless shelter. Adult leaders from IBCLex accompany Bible study groups to the ministry site, so no student will be in a group without one of our adult leaders. During the day, students will be challenged as individuals. In the evenings, they will have the opportunity to build relationships over dinner, worship, fellowship, and church group devotions. MFUGE is designed to give students both a camp and mission experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in our own community, learning to live everyday life on mission!
Cost is $320 per student. Scholarships are available upon request and are on a first come, first served basis. Both a 2017 Medical Release Form and FUGE Release Form are required to attend and will be available to complete in person and notarized at our meeting on Sunday, March 26, at 10:30 AM (between services) in the Summit.
